Not hunting but everyday after October it's flannel and hoodies.

I normally wear the Carhart rain defender just seeing what other stuff is out there.

Anyone have experience with dri duck, akhg, arbor wear specifically the double thick?

I have some AKHG hoodies, the ones I have (the tun-dry, I think that’s what they’re called on the website) are pretty lightweight but they’re comfortable. I typically use them and Carhartt, the Carhartt seems to be a little heavier made to me

Wait hoodies are only winter clothes? I'm wearing hoodies most mornings in the summer. And I wear whatever brand I want to support. I'll grant you the cotton ones don't block wind. But for wearing around town, it is what it is.

So pro tip, for a lightweight hood, Cabelas on black Friday. Poly for material. $20. Layer under a coat easy. Before bass pro bought, they were thicker, still lightweight though. And I don't care if I stain one. White camo and regular camo.

Arborwear is my favorite. Have two defenders, bunch of random. I wear them like you. Meetings I don’t mind a Peleton 240 or so if it’s informal.

Bringing this back to life. Any recommendations on something that's available in tall sizes, no (or minimal) cotton material, and doesn't cost $100+. I'm not a huge fan of free advertising, so I generally don't buy the logo apparel unless it's a really good deal.
