Tikka T3x lite Roughtech Ember 7mm Rem Mag w stainless fluted and threaded barrel and fluted bolt. Leica Amplus 6 2.5-15x56i mrad illuminated scope sitting on Unknown Munition rings. Aftermarket additions include - CTR cheek riser, vertical hand grip, Limbsaver recoil pad, High Desert Rifle Works bottom metal, Titanium one piece bolt knob and handle, polished aluminum bolt shroud and new spring, titanium magnum bolt stop and new spring, Ultralight trigger spring, Lumley bedding kit, pillars, and oversized recoil lug.

I’m assuming you’re asking how I ended up with a .35 Whelen Tikka?

I went the long round about way but basically it’s custom barrel on a Tikka T3X and while it was at the gunsmith I had the bolt fluted because it looks cool!

It’s a custom barrel that I had on a Ruger MKII but was finding the Ruger too heavy to be ideal. I found out that Ruger and Tikka uses the same thread size and pitch so I unscrewed the barrel off the Ruger and had the gunsmith re-screw it on the Tikka. The Ruger has a shorter tenon so the chamber had to be touched up a bit longer but it was pretty simple.
