Tell us more about the Phoenix. Thinking about one for a T1x 17hmr.
I also want to know! I have one for a Tikka on order to go on my 7 SAUM. They said it "should" be done by mid Sept.

Ordered it on 24 March and received it on 13 July. It had a +4 week lead time with the Kuiu pattern. The action and bottom metal fit great. I added 3 spacers to it and LOP is now perfect. It has a rougher texture than I anticipated, but I like it. I guess we’ll see how easy it is to clean.

I kind of wish I would’ve thought to weigh It prior to assembly to see how close it is to the 23 oz advertised weight.

Excluding cost of the action and optic.. I have about $1,700 into it with the stock, barrel, bottom metal, and brake. (Pretty decent mil discount on the stock and barrel)

I didn’t factor the bipod into the cost since it will be used with all my other rifles as well. Here’s the before pic. I bought the rifle in 2017 and it’s been my go-to deer gun ever since.

What companies can you send your rifle to for upgrades? Hell's Canyon and Oregon Mountain Rifles? Who else?

Any reviews?

I would definitely look into sourcing the exact parts you want and doing everything on your own. It’s not that difficult to do, and it can be fun if you have the time. Plus you’ll end up with a rifle that’s 100% 1 of 1, which is pretty cool.

If you’re looking to rechamber an action, I’m sure you can find a local smith that’s more than capable as well.

Agreed
Even better you will know what is perfect about your rifle, what is iffy, and what you had to fudge.

Since this is a tikka thread, I'll ask here. Looking for two left handed stocks for T3x rifles in 7mm and 280 ai. Need to have a barrel channel for a proof sendero.

Recommendations on stocks I should look at?

Doesn’t look a whole lot different from the first picture but I just got this back today from Black Canyon Customs out of Denver.
Allterra stock BCC opened up the barrel channel to fit the 3B in it.
Bartlein 3B at 18 inches threaded for the suppressor whenever that gets out of jail.
Was thinking about cerakoting there barreled action or painting the stock but the SS over black CF is winning me over. It’s like one of those fancy tuxedo T-shirts with the sleeves cut off

Fritz is awesome! Write up a review of your experience in a separate thread to contrast some of the debacles that have come up lately.
