He grossed 51 1/8... was 12.5 years old. I think he netted like 49 7/8. This was an ODFW score, so not by a B&C affiliate.

Only had a few incisors left in his head.

What a goat! Love these posts with the ages of the goats. Very helpful for new goat hunters. Any chance you'd post the horn lengths and/or scores of the goats, too?

I’ve never had them scored. I tried scoring this one myself and it was 53” ish. I got a few really old goats at 10-12yrs. I hope I can help new goat hunters. I’m not in the “any goat is a trophy” camp. We can do better and selectively hunt this species.

Great success’s!! Your last two sentences nail it, I 100% agree! Sure goats are tough to hunt in general.... but then there’s, the old billys, they put a different outlook on a goat hunt.
