Lets see how you store and organize your gear. I know some people have some good setups and I am looking for ideas.

My gear is an absolute mess so I won't be posting a photo haha.

Need to get GrainDrain to post a picture of his little room to make you feel better. You can barely walk into the place.

Mis is occasionally organized. I have a big closet and some deep built ins in my garage. All my clothing and most of my gear are in the sealed Ziploc brand totes. I bought the black ones, which was a mistake, because you cant see what's inside. I need to get a label machine or buy some stickers that show what's inside each of the boxes so I don't have to tear the place apart looking for one specific thing.

I've been living in tiny college town apartments with zero room and lose stuff constantly. Hopefully there's some storage hack that gets posted

I'll send a pic when I get home, I really like the easy assemble shelving you can buy at any hardware store.

I got my hunting room downgraded and turned the old one into my daughters play room so was essential to get some storage racks for me!

Organization never really happens for me. I keep most everything in totes with like items. I try to separate everything back into its respective spot at the end of a season or trip. I've got a pretty decent read on where most things are.

Man, I gotta do something. I keep everything in totes but I’m getting to much stuff!! I have a room in my shop that would be perfect but I still have to keep everything in the totes. I’ve had mice chew holes in packs in the past, I’d really like to be able to hang up some of my gear. If anybody ‘s got ideas for that, I’d love to hear them!

Here's what I did with ours. The totes are labeled, one has cookstoves/pots/water bladders, another sleeping pads, another pack raft gear, and another game bags.

The small drawers have things like instant coffee, drink mixes and snack bars. The cardboard boxes are mostly dehydrated entrees, I had to rearrange them because the ones on top of the dresser didn't survive the big earthquake so they are mostly on the shelving now. My outdoor clothes are in the dresser, and Luke's are in a set of plastic drawers just out of this photo.

We have packs hanging on the wall

The walk in closet we use to hang jackets, and sleeping bags, with shelters and dry bags on the floor.

That back of the door organizer is a good idea, think I'll grab one of those next time I'm out.

All of my stuff is in totes in the garage. Can be a bit of a pain when I have to go through all of them to find one piece of gear. Once my basement gets finished, I'll have a dedicated closet with a large closet organizer.

I have 3 going on 4 hunters in my home. Our gear pile can plug up our 28 foot trailer! I'm jealous of those who can use a single small room and make it work.

Very jealous of the guys with the space to organize stuff. My wife and I are saving to buy a house living with my parents. My moms a mid grade hoarder so I struggle to keep my pile as an accessible pile. I’ve been thinking about an old entertainment center or something similar to keep everything together.

any ideas for Boot racks? simply lining up in the bottom of closet is not the best and typical shoe racks dont work for boots

I use a big cupboard. Sleeping bags are hanging, packs on the shelf, gun safe and some shelves.

You guys will love the shelves that my daughter donated to my gear cupboard, see if you can tell which ones
