My 2016 bear. Homemade bow, homemade arrows and homemade broadheads (made from old saw blades) THe larger was taken with that homemade gear. THe smaller with the bumper of my truck an hour later.

The quarry might be when compared to elk and deer, but there's nothing simple about getting within range and connecting on such a small target. That's some great shooting! I love sneaking around after squirrels!

From the wayback files. About 1985 or so. Notice the original Realtree pants and big XX75 aluminums. I still own the bow and hunt with it some. Killed this guy as he walked by at 25 yards....watched him flame out after a 60 yard run.
