With season fast approaching I just wanna get a thread going where everyone shows how they did last year, whether it’s an elk, mule deer, bear, etc., or just to show off camp. No need for the state or unit numbers, just wanna see some pics and hear some hunting stories from the past year!

I got nothing. Saw big buck opening morning and lost doe & missed a boar hog 2 mornings later. Didn’t see another deer or hog. Buddy had sighted my xbow and it shot a couple inches left. Maybe this year?

Veterans Day 7 point. I LOVE hunting on Veterans Day!!

It was 1 of those magical days in the woods, with bucks chasing does all around me.

It was raining off and on, started again about 30 seconds after I shot him. Made for a tough tracking job, even though he only went about 80 yards.

Caribou hunt. Partner and I both filled one of two tags each. Cold weather pushed the migration up a bit and we missed most of it. Still had a blast and brought home meat.

It was a busy year with school and work. Passed up some deer opportunities that I regret now. Duck hunting finally clicked for me last season even with the limited time. Managed to get on a lot of birds and have a lot of fun with the dog. Two archery turkeys, 37 ducks, 18 quail, a pheasant, a rabbit, and a grouse.

Passed up a couple small bulls early on,regret that again. Took a nice buck from the stand.

Was an absolutely incredible year for my family! I put down five whitetail bucks, including my biggest ever, a bobcat, a GIANT Sika stag on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, my wife and son both killed nice bucks with a bow and my daughter killed her first deer with a crossbow. Oh and I also killed a doe with a traditional muzzleloader which was fun!

Killed my cow elk Sept 7 -
Went to Alaska 2 days later and called in a moose for my buddy Then killed a 10pt Colorado WT in October - a good year

2021 was probably one of my best falls to date. Bull elk, 8 whitetails, and 1 sika. Here’s to hoping 2022 is even better.

OIL ND Elk tag (my first elk) and a freak Whitetail I got during MT general season. Also got my archery deer during the rut and helped my brother get his OIL ND Moose. Was a year to remember!

Was fortunate enough to get on a decent for the area 8 point on PA Public land. Honestly its a fairly overlooked plot with just over 400 acres, but the vegetation is thick once off trail which prevents most guys from going off the main trail far. Not that big by any means, but not bad for my first buck, much less an archery buck.
