Yampa river, several years ago.
The black thing in the picture is a 'tent'. I didn't want to buy a wall tent and we had this huge heavy tarp we weren't using. I built a square-ish frame of 2x4s in my yard, wrapped the tarp around it, secured it with paracord, disassembled the whole thing, threw it in a trailer with a cordless drill, and reassembled it as a homemade budget 'wall tent'. We put the kids' tent inside it to get them out of the wind on what turned out to be a cold night. I'd do it again in a heartbeat in a truck-camping situation, with a few very minor modifications, but you have to be on your toes to assemble it with 20mph+ winds. lol.
