It not the same type of camp most of you are posting but my backcountry plans got canceled this season and I like this pic. This is my cousin working up a forkey while his dad and my dad supervise. He passed up a 4x4 because the forkey had a weird eye growth.

My first post to the forum! I’ve been browsing and reading info on this site for about 3 years now, finally decided to join!

Ok I'll bite.

My first hunting experience ever and first attempt at night photography, spent 4 days solo in this monstrosity and was instantly hooked.

My sons first backpacking trip and first time sleeping in a floorless shelter.

Full cloud coverage, the rain that night was unreal.

Kid is a pro backpack hunter now, even packs in 600+ page books.

Starry nights in the tarp tipi.

Picked up a tipi and stove this year, looking forward to getting some photos of that in action next season!
