Less than a week and I lost my partner

This may be a bit pre-mature as I'm still waiting for decisions from two guys. Time isn't really on my side so I'll throw up this long shot anyhow. Long story short, I don't have a partner and I have a plane booked for the Brooks range out of Fairbanks. Unfortunate circumstances beyond anyones control led to the last minute change. Dates are the 7-20th for now, although I'm trying to work an earlier extraction around the 17th. This is my 3rd year to the same spot so I'm comfortable with the area. If anyone at all is interested and thinks they can pull this off physically, financially and logistically in such short notice please shoot me a PM and I can give provide more details.

I would assume you already posted on the Alaska Outdoor forum, but if not I'd suggest it. I would be all over it if I wasn't going into the TMA with my wife. Good luck to you and hopefully you get a partner locked down. I know your pain I had this happen during elk season in MT and it's no fun going solo into grizz country after heavy hooves. Finding a good hunting partner is tough......I had to marry mine

Any way a out of state guy can get a tag for the area you are going to?

You could get a black bear tag or caribou tag depending on where he is heading into but non-residents are required to use a guide for sheep, goats, and brown/grizzly bears.
