Leupold VX2 4-12x40 AO vs Vortex Razor HD LH 3-15x42
Leupold VX2 4-12x40 AO has AO, Vortex Razor HD LH 3-15x42 has side parallax. Leupold is 13.2 oz vs vortex at 16.5 oz. Vortex has more magnification maximum and minimum. What do you think? The Vortex is the better scope, but is it worth the extra 3 ounces? Right now I have a Leupold 3-9x40 which is 11.2 ounces but no parallax adjustment so the longer the shot the more parallax error that will be introduced. Alternatively there's Leupold 3-9x33 EFR which has parallax adjust less eye relief smaller objective but less weight at 12 oz. Leupold calls it a rimfire scope, and I don't see a ton of upside to that one over the vx2 4-12.
