We have been running the Leica Geovids for a few months and they have quickly become one of our favorite binoculars for western hunting! Click here to check out our review!
You should get ahold of Leica's customer service team! They are top notch. We had some technology issues out of the box on the pair of Geovids we reviewed and they were extremelly helpful!Iam having issues getting mine to update . Any suggestions? I have no problem getting the first one to update but can seem to get the second one uploaded....
It would be a nice feature to add, but in all reality wind holds provided by range finders will never be spot on anyway. There are too many variables when making a wind call to trust the output value the rangefinder gives you. In my opinion, it would still be a nice feature to have just for a reference point. No wind hold outputs on a $2500+ ballistic RF is ridiculous IMO. It's obvious this ballistic program was designed by people who don't really shoot much.
If you are a rifle hunter than it's the only way to go! If you do a lot of archery hunting than it can be a bit of a hassle if you are trying to obtain a range mid stalk.Good review. I just can't make up my mind whether I want to combine RF and binoculars.
The Geovids in the review do provide a solution for wind. This info has already been given to you.
