You should get ahold of Leica's customer service team! They are top notch. We had some technology issues out of the box on the pair of Geovids we reviewed and they were extremelly helpful!

No wind hold outputs on a $2500+ ballistic RF is ridiculous IMO. It's obvious this ballistic program was designed by people who don't really shoot much.

Good review. I just can't make up my mind whether I want to combine RF and binoculars.

It would be a nice feature to add, but in all reality wind holds provided by range finders will never be spot on anyway. There are too many variables when making a wind call to trust the output value the rangefinder gives you. In my opinion, it would still be a nice feature to have just for a reference point.

If you are a rifle hunter than it's the only way to go! If you do a lot of archery hunting than it can be a bit of a hassle if you are trying to obtain a range mid stalk.

The Geovids in the review do provide a solution for wind. This info has already been given to you.

You're the guy who answered my question and said the 3000 does NOT provide wind hold information, and now it's verified. In the brief time I owned the SigKilo 3000 BDX it would spit out wind holds, based on verified datat input in the Sig app, and it was very accurate, and proven. Like I said, IMO Leica dropped the ball on this one in that regard.

Save your breath on the Kestrel. I was specifically talking about the Leica 3000 binocllars. It was you who mentioned the Kestrel, not me. Read my thread title again if you're having a hard time understanding the discussion.
