Leica Geovid 3200.com Ballistics Question

I bought a new pair of Leica Geovid 3200.com 10x42 for the instant ballistics but the binos won't give me an MOA readout. I have downloaded the leica app to my phone and have entered my ballistic information. When I compute & save the ballistics, it produces a ballistics chart that is almost identical to the ballistic chart I have used in the past. So I know the app is working. The app tells me my bluetooth connection to the binos is good and the transfer of the ballistics is complete. When I range my target in the binos, I get yardage buy no subsequent MOA reading. I'm sure it's an easy fix but I don't know what it is. Any help is appreciated.

Check that your bino setting is correct. ?

Main Menu, Mode, bALL, (ballistic curve)
Select bALL.
Not EHr , or LOS.

Thanks. I actually have the setting set to CUST b/c of the custom profile I created for my rifle in the app.

I found this cheat sheet on a different thread. It solved my problem. Good reading if anyone else is having a problem. Much better instructions than I received with the binos.

I checked with our Leica Tech rep and he replied:

"He also has to go to the settings tab and choose US or EU for yards or meters, CUST under BALL Ballistic Profile, 100, 200 or 300 under SID Zeroing Range, Clicks: 1MOA under AbC Ballistic setting, and his preferred brightness level, then scroll to the bottom and tap Transfer Settings and wait for Settings Transfer Complete message."

This is a resurrection I know but my question is more or less the same. The app has changed since, Leica Hunting is no more - it’s now Leica Ballistics. So the goal posts have moved. I’m am trying to get my new-to-me 3200.coms going. Optics and range finding are very impressive.

It sounds like the new app is simpler. The Bluetooth and firmware are up to date. The settings seem to have transferred, and the gun profile says it has sent. But when I range I get the three lines after the range and not the ballistic correction. I’ve checked the settings for the rangefinder in the app match the settings in the custom profile.

Has anyone else mastered the 3200.coms with the new Leica Ballistics app?

Ok I’ve worked it out. It doesn’t like a MV below 1500 - I was using a practice profile for 22 subs. Trying a full house 7mm profile it works perfectly
