Leica Duovid 8-12x42 (lower price)

For sale a Leica Duovid 8-12x42 binocular in good shape. $985 shipped to lower 48.

I am the second owner of this nice set of glass. Includes Bino, Leather Leica case, Eagle Optics Bino system (crooked horn style). I added a vortex rain guard and Vortex Objective lens covers. Some light handling marks from hunting use, but the lenses are in really good shape. Rub mark on one small area on the ocular lens you can see while looking at them, but not while looking through them.

I will include the Bog Pod tripod adapter hand that allows you to put the Bino on a tripod if interested. I was amazed at the view through this Bino, especially on the tripod.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

I've got the 10-15 version of these and love them. Can't think of a more versatile setup.

Thank you Steve O. They are really terrific. I am one of those guys that suffered from "shake" at 10x, so these provided me a great alternative. 8x for general purpose and 12x for getting to the details. Details are pretty easy with very high end glass and these deliver well in that regard. Due to me not getting the "bino hand" until this past Christmas, I would use my trekking pole to steady while sitting and watching for any extended period of time. Worked quite well.
