Leica CRF 1000 R?

Anybody using one of these? I have a crf 1200 that I really like but want a TBR rangefinder. Is the 1000-R good for archery hunting? I know the 1600 isn't exactly bow hunter friendly. From what I understand the 1000-R is and does tbr from 10-600 yds.

Is the display simple? I really don't care what the temp is or the barometric pressure. I just want to know the yardage in both true horizontal distance and actual distance. Thanks!

i too am very interested in this subject. ive narrowed it down to these 2 range finders also. any insight would be great!

I should have checked this more often. Monwilj, I ended up buying one and have been very pleased with it. The tbr seems very accurate, it's fast and it has no problem hitting it's max claimed range. Its great for bow hunting unlike previous Leica models.
