Looking for idaho legal bullets.
Muzzleloader is a CVA optima V2 .50 cal

Want some recommendations to try out.

Our group also use the 460 grain NE in three different .50 cal ML here in Oregon. We’ve killed 7 bucks and had fantastic results with very short if any tracking.

You might want to wait a couple months. It is very likely that Idaho is going to change their regulations for 2024.

I have the same muzzle loader and was wondering the same thing. We will see what they come up in regards to regulations.

Once these regulations come out maybe we can bounce back and fourth on what loads are working for one another.

Any idea when they’ll decide? Seems likely in the push to remove lead from the environment.

Wanted to check in on this thread, and see if anyone has been shooting these new bullets? Traditionally shot powerbelts here in Idaho, but I’m interested to try some of these other bullets!

Following …. Wish our ID F&G would quit tweaking the ML regs so frequently.

Would also like them to allow scopes even if only 1 or 1.5x power. Being an old guy and only having to focus on 1 sighting part and the target/animal would make life easier!
