I'm in for info as one day I am going to do this........I don't have much to offer in the way of advice.
I went cheap for my first lefty bolt a Savage....wondering whether I would like it or not...love the lefty bolt.... its the way to go. The Savage shoots ok....but the fit and finish is cheap- plastic trigger guard, etc. I wish I would have spent a few hundred more and bought a Tikka.
I did this last year, but with a Bushy 3-12 LRHS on it. I've owned/still own, a handful of LH customs, given my recent experience with this Tikka I'd say it's definitely the path of least resistance and the route I'd go.I will say just buying a lefthanded Tikka in 6.5 Creedmoor may be a really easy and good plan. Plus you'd be shooting it in a week. Put a 2.5-10 Nightforce or 3-9 SWFA on it.
