This is my 3rd or 4th Leer Canopy in the last 20 years or so and to say I am disappointed in the quality is an under statement. I had this installed in March of this year on my 2024 F350 Super duty and this past week was the first time our family spent a lot of time inside the truck while we were camping and loading and unloading the truck. The entire bottom of the inside of the canopy from the bottom of the windows on down was a total mess of unfinished fiberglass and huge shards of fiberglass sticking out every where. It was impossible to lay your hand on the bottom and move it a few inches without receiving a few splinters in your skin. I ended up having to spend about 3 hours with a 80 grit sanding block getting rid of most of the issues. Canopy is a Leer 100R model. Also noticed the rear window seal is already worn thru in 4 short months.
Maybe I bought a Lemon. Just be prepared to spend some time prepping the inside to save your skin if you buy one of these.

I got one for my 2025 Tacoma a couple of months ago. I thought the fit looks bad and it leaks along top of the bed on the cab side. The dealer said it was fine and the leaking was due to the poor Toyota bed design. My thought was that the cap was supposed to be made to fit the truck, not the other way around.

I am not very happy for $4,000+.

I am not happy with mine, and I have had it a few years. The back glass never stays up like it should, even after replacing the hydraulics. I woke up in the middle of the night last turkey season and had water pouring in around the brake light at the top of the canopy. It also leaked around the seal, which I think I have satisfactorily repaired.

What brand do you all recommend?
Was thinking maybe I would put one on this year. I normally don't use one cause i need my box for daily use.

I have a gfc camper and love it. They now offer a topper and if that was what I needed I would certainly consider one. Access from three sides and durable as hell.

I have a 100R and water-wise it’s been tolerable with a little leaking at the rear corners if its heavy rain. Rest of the fit/finish is pretty good.

Bought a Pro topper used and it's been great. I replaced the fiberglass screens with metal that's it. Fit and finish is good. Shortbed Ram 2500. One thing I don't care for on all newer trucks is the shelf on top of the tailgate. Serves no purpose that I can see.
