Leather Gloves?

Does anyone have a particular brand/model of leather/other durable gloves they’ve used and enjoyed for crawling on their face while chasing pronghorn? My hands got beat up last season, and I’m eager to avoid it this year. Thanks!

While not specific to hunting, I like the deerskin ones from TSC. Thin enough to not be bulky and offer plenty of protection.

I keep a pair of these in my pack and a pair in my truck door.

I wear my ranching leather gloves all through hunting seasons, until the coldest of days.
Currently have a worn, blood stained, dirty pair of Stag Iron Fencers in my pickup.

When shopping for gloves, I prefer the ones with double leather in the palm

I appreciate the feedback!

I have the older version of sitka gunners that I really like but tried the current version on the other day and did not care for them. They are much bulkier. Ive been checking out the Final Rise gloves. They look nice

At least in Central Wyoming sage country I’ve never used anything but somewhat soft pig, goat or deer hide and never once wished for a pair of double palm high quality cow hide, which I also own. Use what’s appropriate for your location.

I typically wear the ones I get from Sam's Club. Don't remember if they are pig or cow leather. I also use some Sitka gloves with the leather palm and they have worked well.

Never hunted antelope anywhere in Wyoming I didn't wear good gloves, we have cactus everywhere.
Murdoch's sells some cheap buffalo leather gloves that work pretty well.

Knee pads too.

Have you all tried deerskin leather gloves? They're cheaper than the plainsman cabretta leather and very soft.

The thorny things that grow in pronghorn country will go right through deerskin gloves. I use Iron Fencer 207 gloves from Golden Stag.

I wet them and let them shrink then treat with SnoSeal. They are tougher than anything I can find in the east. I bought my first pair in Wy and now order them on-line.

I grabbed a pair of these, and then promptly messed up my shoulder, tanking most of my archery season I’m hoping to be able to rack on a couple days toward the end of things. Spectacular timing on my part!

Not to add confusion but I’ve found the knit gloves with silicone/latex/nitrile grip breath better. I bought couple pairs of Hestra iridium job gloves and been happy.
