Looking for some general how to's on the layering system for late season cold weather clothes layering. Any guides or videos you can link me to or direct me to would be great.

Thanks
Chad

I have quite a few at the youtube link below. Do you have any clothing now or are you starting from a clean slate?

Good Luck!

I currently have several clothes from different manufactures but I do not have a full system by one company. I am always curious to see what everyone's layering techniques are.

If you're talking not getting above freezing and lows around zero this is my go to of what I own.
Merino bottoms, Oakley insulated snow pants that have hip and inner thigh vents. Light merino shirt, kenai with a hood, insulated ski parka. Primaloft mittens, mid weight fleece gloves, liner gloves. Neck gaiter or balaclava, beanie.

I guess my technique is venting and breathable while not having an excessive amount of clothes with me. I love having vents as I don't need to stop for adding or removing layers as often.

I wouldn't have to ever remove the kenai or liner gloves. So just one coat in the pack, accessories would fit into my pant or required orange vest pockets.
