Not with the Hunter's but do with the Briksdal GTX. 200 gr insulation as well kept feet warm in a late Nov elk hunt, feet didn't get overly hot. Was just wearing a thin pair of wool socks and had no issues.

I’ve had the L&S Hunter (non insulated) and currently wear the Crispi Briksdal (200gr).

both great boots. L&S was stiffer and well built. Just wore Crispi in 3rd rifle elk CO and was warm hiking in snow each day.

can’t go wrong with either. Get what fits.

Hunters are the best out of the box boot I’ve ever owned, warm, comfortable, and supportive. Worth every penny they cost
