I apprecaite all (or at least most), feedback so far.
As for a build budget, none in particular. I'm trying to keep the base rifle under 7K or so. If I wanted to use a rifle I already own, then I would do that. But most of my chamberings are .30 cal or larger and none of them fit the niche I want. I do have a old .270win that is a great gun, but it wont fit the niche as well as a new build.
As for the supressor, I will look around at the suggest options. Odds are that I will end up with Tbac due to having one of thiers already and knowing how bomb proof they are. Albeit not the lightes. Likely going with the Magnus K, which gives better supression than the Ultra 5 but weighs similar to the Ultra 7. I will go further and advocate thier utility by lengthing out the recoil pulse and reducing sound, both making the rifle more acurate. They are heavier, but I rather drop 1lbs from my weight than go without it.
As for caliber, I am fairly steadfast with a 7mm chambering. I have plenty of friends who have killed browns and moose with 6mm and smaller, but I still can't convince myself to go that small for either. While this rifle is not intended as a brown or moose rifle, I still want it to be able to confidently take that game if the circumstnaces enable it. Neither will (likley) be in the prime goat country, but the ground I have to cover to get there will have both and I am never one to pass up the chance to put game on the ground.
I plan on going no longer than 20" for the barrel with a folder. I use a Kifaru Gun Bearer or can stap the rifle onto the back of my pack and it wont hang over my head. I've fought enough brush in my life to learn this lesson.
Keep the input comming!
