Second decade? Shelves were well-stocked going into 2020 still. In 2019 I bought a whole gob of ammo and components for dirt cheap.
Nope, it was always something. When brass was in good supply, powders weren't. When brass came back, powders went bust. It was bullets for a long time. Now it's primers. That's it. Just 4 components but you interrupt the flow of one and you stifle the whole thing. Just curious... how long has it been since you could fine Federal Premium Primers in small, large and magnum rifle, in good supply, all sitting right next to each other in almost any local reloading shop? There's reloaders out there who have never seen it in their lifetime.

The only Federal primers I use are 215M's, but have seen several of their other primers right next to these many times before Covid.

Back in 2013 after Sandy Hook in late 2012 things got tight and shelves empty, but two years after that things seemed to normalize again. There seemed to be a few different specific items that weren't fully stocked at times, but were still attainable when they did come in......at normal pricing even. In 2019 I don't think I ever couldn't find most items readily available on the shelves around here. I bought a lot of stuff then and stocked up on everything I use. I do remember .22LR of all things being in short supply prior to Covid, but seems like that was about the last item to return to normal from what I saw.
