Large caliber lever action

I have a Marlin 1895 SBL which is the guide gun in 45-70. Put a scout scope on it and it is the most fun gun I have to shoot. Very accurate to about 100 yards (maybe more but I don't have a need to shoot it more than that). Use mine every year in Wisconsin woods. Got it a few years ago, not "JM" stamped but I have had no issues with it.

Thanks so much for all the advice. I here a lot of good things about the 1895 marlins. I personally like the look of them a whole bunch. But that .500 Big Horn Armoury intrigues me a whole bunch.

I saw that Marlin does a custom 1895 called the modern hunter I believe kind of cool.
