This is good news.

That said they are going to have a hard time competing with alpha, especially in combination with their reamers. Really makes for an easy button when it comes to dasher.

Iv got 3 dasher barrels ready to go. So more brass the better.

I've just read some comparisons favoring lapua fireformed to alpha still so figured it'd be a little favorable. Great if lots of folks don't leave alpha and it's more available i guess?

I'm always excited to see Lapua add new cartridges they make cases for but on the flipside it's a little frustrating to see Lapua add new cartridges to their line up when they either can't keep up with their current line up or they've discontinued so many.

There late to the party. They should of did it years ago. I 'm gettting pretty good dasher brass fireforming lapua 6-br brass. But it can be in short supply sometimes, so be interesting to see how supply's hold up.

I’m not sure many will dump alpha with the popularity of their reamers. I’m curious what lapua came up with fir a spec on the brass, and wonder if it will be same dimensions as alpha or different.

I think most of alphas issues with the dasher are long over, seems most are going to apha now from lapua.

But you need a dasher.

I am in this camp. The alpha dasher reamer/brass combo has been perfect for me. Halfway through my second barrel now and 9X firing on a handful of the brass. I think it was Precision Rifle Blog that did an article about what brass the PRS was favoring and Alpha made up 67% of the total amount and 84% of dasher specifically. Don't see many guys switching, but options are always nice I guess.

Dasher is the easy button.
