I will be hunting in SE Alaska in late May. Will The Lapponia lll be sufficient for the potentially wet and cold weather. I plan to wear wader boots as well, but would like user feedback to help select the right boot. Thanks in advance for the help.

I would take a boot with waxed leather (that treats better with Nikwax) and taller cuff. I use my Lapponia III for midsummer, drier conditions. I use Schnees Granite or Hanwag Ancash in wetter and cool conditionsz along with a pair of goretex gaiters. If you're in SE rainforest , then a Lacrosse Alphaburly or similar treaded rubber boot with good insoles and potentially ankle sleeves (for added atability) may be optimal. That said, the Lapponia III dry relatively quickly compared to heavier leather boots.
