Dallas has been waiting for some decent weather in order to work on some initial testing. But for those who are interested in seeing more of this rifle, here is another picture with the Maven RS.1 mounted up.

Looking good. Like to hear some more about that scope too? Does it feel the way you expected? (Balance and pointability, weight)?

The way this scopes sits low and is pretty short makes for the feel of rifle over all very handy and fast

It looks like Dallas has been out to the range doing a little load development and accuracy testing. Here are a couple of test targets from 100 yards. These 3- shot groups shooting Hornady 220 ELD-X at 3050 are flat out amazing. I accused him of using a little sorcery to get these results but in reality this is normal for his rifle builds.

I know the "not in the center" comment will come up but when I look for accuracy in load work I could care less about where they land I want em tight then I adjust … plus Mister josh will need too zero it for where he likes it!!!! this rifle really likes the 220 ELD-X bullets should be a really good elk smasher combo!!!

What cerakote color did you go with? Is the action just DLC only?

every single part on all my actions are DLC treated inside and out !! I then spray the entire action and all metal in a custom black mix that gets pretty dam close to matching the DLC to begin with … you can never get them to match and it absolutely drives me up a wall crazy if its slightly off
