I have looking at a ruger guide gun with the laminate stock in 300 win mag.
The only thing that keeps me from buying it is the stock .
I don't know how to take care of it if I get caught in rain or snow.
This rifle will be used to elk hunt in the mountains.
So how do you keep from ruining one?

Thank you in advance

You don't take care of it, that's the beauty of it. Laminated wood is like 99% glue. It's strong as hell and doesn't rot. The only con is that it's heavy. You'll need to worry about the metal long before you worry about the stock.
