Just took my new gaitors to the Yukon! Couldn't have been happier. We'll see how they wear. They stayed in place on slopes and through brush. So far no signs of wear.
I was using a name brand pair of hiking gaitors but wanted something better. I have a chronic Achilles issue that keeps me in low boots/shoes and was looking for gaitors to seal up the top as much as possible. These performed beyond expectations. I'll be working them out a bunch more this fall.

Oh. And watch wear you step...
(Disclaimer: found old trap. Didn't disturb a trap. Know the owner of the trap line :))

I went with a Large according to their sizing chart. They fit well. I'm a size 10 boot...5'10" and 180.

Update.
I've used these gaiters through one season and they've been great. Put on a good amount of kilometres.
They survived an epic bushwhacking session that my rifle sling didn't...or my partners knee.
Last trip out they were wrapped around my winter boots pushing snow.
Love these gaiters.

Ya, they are good and quiet which is why i bought them, but The OR expedition crocodile gaiters are tougher.
Mine have several holes in them now (from bushwacking in sagebrush country.)

Just sayin'

They are good gaiters, and quieter than the competition. The only downside as I have now seen 2 pairs out of a small sample size that had the snap on the to end pull out. They work fine without the snap, but it is still disappointing to see.
