I have been using the Cabela's Space Rain jacket and pants for a couple of years and unfortunately lost my pants last season while hunting in AZ. So that said, I'm looking to replace them. I'll be honest, I don't think I've used the Space Rain much the past few seasons as weather has been pretty good on all of my hunts.

Has anyone compared these two? Weight seems to be on par between the two, and I can't find waterproof and breathability ratings on the Space Rain. Any feedback on either (or a comparison if you have tried both) regarding general quality and waterproofing would be hugely beneficial to my decision.

Thanks.

I was looking at the KUIU stuff online yesterday and was thinking the same as you so not much help, but I'll at least bump the thread. I have the space rain and really like it. For as little as I wear it(the bottoms even less) I really can't justify picking up more raingear. I wore the crud out of it a few years ago when it was so wet in colorado and had no issues so I can't really go elsewhere until it fails me. Don't think I have even taken it out of the pack the last few years.

I also use the SpaceRain and find that it works very well. It is somewhat fragile so it is not well suited for brush crashing, but it is also relatively inexpensive.
