Kuiu Travel pants???

I would be interested in them for work if they offered shorter inseams. Not everyone is 6’4 and wears 34” lengths.
Exactly. This is what makes their attack line and tiburon line nice. They offer them in short. I'm certainly not going to shell out $130 for pants, I need to get hemmed.

Without a snap or Velcro on that pocket. I would think there is a high probability of losing one's wallet in these pants.

Curious if anyone else had a problem with wallet retention in stretchy polyester softshell pants? I have not noticed this problem with jeans or cotton duck cloth work pants, even without a snap or Velcro.

I had my wallet in the back pocket of some prana zion pants on a flight. My wallet slipped out when I arrived at my destination. The cleaning crew found my wallet and paged me to come pick it up at the boarding gate. I stopped using that back pocket for my wallet on those pants. Maybe its an issue specific to how the Zion pants are cut and fit and not softshell pants in general though.

If they were 6'4 they would wear 38's or 40's. I have several friends who wear the 34's and they aren't nearly enough. I wear 32's so they stack a bit and I am 5'11 but like a freaking dachshund.

Yup. I don't understand why they don't make a Long, Regular, Short.

As a Kuiu fan boy, they have defintely turned into being the 'Lulu lemon of hunting' with their casual line. That said, their clothes are super nice. I have a few pieces that I wear to the office and to dinners, etc. Really good, soft materials that last. I never pay retail, I buy them on sale, or just have a friend who gets a guide discount ;)

These might be worth it if they fit guys that regularly do squats, lunges, and step-ups. There's not many options. My experience with Kuiu pants, which is very good, is that you have to size up and them have the waist tailored. This is no longer worth it with Stone Glacier and Prana options.

Same

Lululemon is fine. Every time I see a dude wearing Kuiu I give him a nod if I have mine on.

I try not to notice Lululemon, but I hear things.

The contour waistband works great for me. But my wife says that feature makes them looks like I have on an adult diaper...so that's not real stylish.
At some point, I will take photos and put them in the PX. I have never worn them they aren't the same quality or fit as Kuiu in my mind.

Ive never used the back pocket in my Pranas. Actually wearing them today and my wallet always goes in front. FWIW, I learned years ago to carry a smaller wallet in front and I have fewer back issues, believe it or not.

Same. Maybe for a couple seconds. Not serious holding.

I have about 5 or 6 pairs of Pranas. I don't actually like them, they are less tactical looking than I normally wear at work. And nice to travel in. Ballroom is ok.

I would get a pair to try as I have tons of kuiu stuff and wear it to church work even a wedding but not paying that for pants I have to pay someone more money to have them hemmed that’s bonkers to me. How can you ask folks to pay 130 before shipping and taxes so more like 148 bucks for some everyday pants that you can’t even get in your length… no thanks

I have a couple pairs of the Men's Everywhere Pant from 686 (snowboarding company). I just wait until Black Friday and can get them for $50. Their front pockets are pretty secure w/ one having a zipper.

I actually like a good square ice cube.

Nothing beats sonic ice makers tho. I love to crunch ice so sonic ice is the best.

Square ice is not for crunching but for melting into something a little more smooth than soda
