Just wondering if anyone has had their hands or eyes on these bags yet? I would like to find a small sized waterproof bag but unsure if these are as tuff as they are claiming.. if they are they might just be the ticket..

I spotted those and am interested. I mainly want one or two for use as smaller gear bags for throwing in a Super Cub. For me, lighter weight is preferable but durability is key.

I have one that I funded through GIRU. No real use yet just got it earlier this week. They certainly seem plenty durable to me. They actually feel alot like some of the Patagonia bag materials but a little thinner and not so rigid as the patagonia bags which are heavy for their size in my opinion.

any chance you could post some pics.. I have a few waterproof/resistant bags from Simms and another company, just wondering if these Kuiu bags are stronger materials.. thanks

Just a close up of the material maybe and the inside I guess. Mostly just wondering if its made out of the same material many other bags are made of.. Or if they changed to something more durable. thanks

Doesn't look like that worked from my phone. I'll put the pictures on from my computer when I have a chance

I'm pretty familiar with the fabric in these and it's durable despite being physically light. The webbing and straps will weigh more than the fabric in all likelihood. I doubt if you'd want to be brutally hard on the bag, but it should be more than capable of serious gear transport duty. Gear bags like the Boundary Waters series from Cabela's would be tougher and totally waterproof but at the expense of extra weight.

Here are a couple. I can take more if you want something else.

I need to bring mine home from work

But initially it seems durable

On par material with some of my old scuba dive and gear bags and beat the heck out of them

Great stowaway bag for clothes and gear even could pass as a scent free bag with ozone generators. Extremely durable .was in South Dakota in may for a turkey hunt and saw a hunter get off plane grab the taku and drug it thru the airport and then thru the parking lot never affected the bag and i was amazed
