Is anyone using this? I tried to search for some reviews but all I found was classified listings. They’re on clearance right now and they look like a pretty good deal for 150 bucks not overly excited about aluminum poles. Has anybody tried to do carbon fiber poles ultimately looking for a shelter for two people have been looking at some of the Argali stuff as well.

I have the floor, and bug net. It’s been just as strong with my trekking poles as the aluminum tent poles. It’s a cool tent, I’ve had one for 6 years now.

These are on sale right now but it doesnt have a floor. How important is it to have a floor in October in Colorado in your opinion?

I prefer floorless unless there is deep snow. It keeps things cleaner and allows water infiltration. Bonus is you can take a leak inside your tent if you're really lazy at night.

What about if there’s a heavy rain? Doesn’t the water run under the edges and thru the tent?

Not if you pitch it in the right spot. If you pitch it in a hole even a floored tent will still get wet.

I hope I’m not frustrating y’all but I looked for a floor online for this tent and could not find one. I know one of y’all told me as long as I set it up in the right spot I don’t have to worry about it, but is there a way for me to buy a different floor that would fit this tent?

It looks like there's a stove jack, correct? I can't find a weight. I might just buy one and figure it out later.

You wouldn't necessarily need a bathtub floor that is made specifically for this shelter, I have a handful of different floorless tents that I use in all seasons and I only have ever brought a ground cloth tarp if the ground is wet/muddy etc. I wouldn't overthink it.

Think you are looking at the vent, don't believe it has a stove jack.
