I love my kuiu bag so far. Hasbt had alot of use so far but the nights i have had in it i have been very comfortable. I bought the 15 degree bag and it packs down to stuff all. Plus its under 1kg which is lighter then my 35 degree Kathmandu bag.I need to get a new down sleeping bag for backpack hunting. I'm leaning towards a Western Mountaineering bag, but would be interested in hearing reviews from anyone who owns a kuiu bag. Can't seem to find many independent reviews on these bags.
I have a lost ranger 15, with the insulated air core pad, and I will freeze if i don't have base layers on under 25*. It's a very roomy bag, but not warm. Can't wait to try my new kuiu 0* though!I used a WM alpinelite last year and I was very warm and I love the bag. The only problem with the bag I have and and any other bag for that matter is I tend to slide off the 'pad' during the night. I still need to find a way not to slide off the sleeping pad when using the WM bag.
I might be using a BA Lost Ranger bag next year due to that reason, I love the sleeping pad sleeve of the BA bags.
