I see that Kuiu doesn't sell small sizes, so I wonder about the medium? Do any of you small guys out there have Kuiu clothing, especially tops or jackets? I'm 5'7" and 130 pounds with a 38" chest. I know, I know...pretty buff, huh? Do you think the Kuiu medium is too big? Thanks in advance!

6'2" 160 40" chest. Medium jacket is just right, layers nice over 2 shirts. Medium baselayer isn't close enough to wick, have to wear a poly compression under it. For your size sitka medium would fit great. They fit me tight but not compression tight in the torso, just too short in arms and torso length ( jacket and shirts). Ice breaker medium fits like sitka but longer torso

Heard the teton shirts run small.

I am the same exact height weight medium fit me good. I have worn the base layers and the guide jacket. You're just not going to have the "athletic" (aka spandex fit) that many others have. It was comfortable to me and it never got in the way of drawing my bow or anything else. I wear first lite now and if you're familiar with their stuff the medium base layers are pretty comparable, Kuiu is a slightly slimmer cut though.

I'm 5'9" and about 145 with 38" chest. I find that the medium fits pretty good, but the sleeves are about an inch too long. I wouldn't call the fit on me "athletic cut". If, or when I hunt colder weather I will like the little extra room I have.

PS, I will be hemming the sleeves.

I'll chime in just to commiserate with you guys. I'm 5'10" and 145lbs(competitive cyclist, read long and lean) and it still boggles my mind that it's so hard to find hunting clothing in size small. Cabelas nor Sportsmans' Warehouse even stock size small in anything. It's just odd when you listen to industry guys like Jason H, Steve Rinella(in reference to First Lite), etc talk about how they couldn't find good gear years ago and used to wear mountaineering type gear. I've tried on several Medium Kuiu pieces and I was swimming in them. I ordered some First Lite and was disappointed with the really short and square fit. I've had decent luck with Sitka's pieces in Small although the price is a little hard to swallow and I'm not a big fan of their patterns. As for now, I've been sticking with my Arcteryx, Smartwool, Patagonia, Icebreaker, and First Ascent type clothing. I don't archery hunt, so the solid, muted natural tones work fine for me at this point. I will say that I do prefer a slimmer cut on my clothing, as I can then mix in my existing collection to build a system for a specific trip. The Under Armour Ridgereaper stuff looks to be cut pretty athletic and is offered in small sizing, but I haven't had it in my hands, and I worry that it might be a little to "cheaply" constructed(this is just my assumption based on the horrible inconsistent fabric dye job in all the photos of their pants).

5'10" 165-170lbs, 40" chest and the medium stuff I have (kenai jacket, guide vest, merino 145 top, peloton glove) fits me pretty perfectly. I also have a Chinook jacket in a large, and it is a bit loose, but not overly so. I wear levi's in 33w/32l and the Attacks in 34 are pretty spot on, perhaps a bit snug in the front pocket area if anything.

I'm 5'9.5", 38 chest and 32 waist. The medium size and 32 pants fit me like they were tailored for me. However, the alpine pants I just got were a tad big in the waist and I needed a belt. The attack, tiburons and guide pants all fit perfectly though.

A good tailor could probably fix anything that isn't a perfect fit for you, but I'm betting a medium is where you'll be.

Good luck.
