What did the rep at Kuiu say when you asked them about these?

Lots of this kuiu and Sitka stuff shows up on aliexpress from time to time. I imagine it is the Chinese manufacturer unloading seconds that they want to get rid of and the third party sells them wherever they can. A buddy of mine bought a “kuiu” jacket and he swears it is legit. Prices are not always that much better and obviously no warranty.

What did the rep at Kuiu say when you asked them about these?

That the company selling these was not affiliated with Kuiu and that these were imitations, in his words. I'd honestly be surprised if they aren't legit.

Anyone that outsources manufacturing to China deserves to have their product counterfeited. These are probably legit shirts made to Kuiu standards in the same factory. Kuiu probably contracted the company to make a thousand shirts and the factory just made an extra thousand LOL. The only difference between these shirts and the original Kuiu shirts is that Kuiu didn’t get their cut of the $$$

No, do not buy from that site. A buddy in college bought some golf clubs on there, they looked very real but caved in when you hit a ball with them
