Just saw the KUIU SFS bow kit in the new catalogue. Anyone try one yet, looks like it would protect the cams and sight better when strapped to the pack breaking brush? Just Seeing if anyone has any first hand experience before I drop the cash on one.

I have one and have used it quite a bit. I typically only use the cam and strings cover. It's not super quick to take off, so I only use it with the bow on the pack and going through thick stiff as you have said. I use the CBE site cover for my site because I can take it off and put it on much quicker.

Yep same thoughts as warrior - if you carry your bow around with that cover on, and bump into an animal, really tough to pop it off without spooking them due to all of the Velcro.

It's a nice product for protecting your bow string while on your pack or moving through thick crap. Sight cover is simple and works well. Fleshing cover is entirely useless in my opinion.

I like the string cover but do not attach the 3 velcro tabs. Only use it while on my pack. I always have the fletching cover on. It covers 4 arrow fletchings in my tight spot perfectly. I don't use the sight cover unless i know the trail packing in with the bow on my back has the potential to really catch on my bow with some sticks or thick brush.

I use one of the older Primos slings. Not the neoprene. It has its place.

I don't know if the SFS has a strap, but I like having a strap. If we're covering ground on mountain bikes, it's nice to be able to pull the sling out of a pocket, put it on my bow and quickly sling it over my shoulder and pack and move.

The Primos bow sling is better - snaps and foam over the cams. IMO the fletching cover is unusable and the sight cover is not needed. The Velcro is a downgrade from snaps.
