Kuiu Pro Pack 6000

Howdy all,

I just purchased a new pack after rocking a sunbacker frame pack for the last twenty years. I landed on the Kuiu because of its price and features, I was curious how people store their rifles on with this pack. With my old external frame I would strap it to that, maybe I just need to stuff some crap in it and then it will become apparent.

I recently picked up a new rifle and I want to try a different way to carry it on my pack. I'd like it to be fairly quickly accessible but secure enough to move around the mountains without one hand on my sling. I have a Kuiu pack. I've looked at their Kuiu sling hook and quick draw gun holder, as well as the FHF rifle sling and pack attachment.

What else have you guys tried? Thanks for the help.

I run the KUIU gun holder on mine. Works great. Not sure if they are making them anymore though.
