^^^ very similar experience. Went on a spur of the moment overnight pack trip. Light rain was expected but I woke up at ~2-3am to the tent folding in on me and snowing heavily. By morning we had 8” of snow! Cold as heck so I left the bottoms on to start the hike the rest of the way up the mountain. Got hot so I dropped trou in front of everyone and zipped those babies off. What a revelation. Everyone including me thought that was so cool. So much better than all those years stopping to take your boots and pants off. One of the best inventions ever :)

I guess the really question is, does anyone have a pair they want to sell?!?

I bought 2 pairs and loved them, and then saw they were only in the outlet so I picked up 2 more pairs, glad I did

I can't imagine they aren't bringing them back in a new rendition. They had to have sold well - the 97 fleece even caught some steam outside of the hunting community.

If they did anything for the 97 bottom I'd like a little more reinforcement around the seams in the crotch/rear. That's where mine are giving out a little.

I’ve been thinking about this and I bet something else is in the works. The 97 top has got a big following with hikers but the bottoms don’t make much sense for that user group. Not sure if the bottoms had a huge following at all. I think they will come out with something similar to AD or octa fleece but with a face fabric instead of the naked garments made for the hiker community.
