Kuiu Pack Mods

My favorite mod is the addition of a Seek Talon. Functions like a KIfaru grab it for stuffing stuff behind it, adds fast access pocked (mesh on the back of it) that is great for keeping a few things you know you'll need quickly often, and the pocket inside adds 800 ci of storage that neatly compresses/folds flat when nothing is in it. Mine weighs 4.65 oz too.

Just ordered one of these. Thanks for the posting.

Did the exact same on mine as well, plus added a vertical strap to help keep meat from hanging/sagging to the bottom.
Can you post a picture of how you got that one set up. The vertical strap part you said you did. I don’t see how I’d be able to add in some vertical ones.

Hope this helps.

So the vertical strap is just for that extra umph to stay put and not leaving all the bottom pressure to that one pack clip on the bottom back of the waist belt. And I love how you used the TSlots for the extra side buckle straps. I didn’t even think about using them. ’
That's correct. They have all been especially helpful to keep a bag of deboned meet to stay right where originally put it and prevent that slump and loss of even weight distribution.

I was swapping bags last night and snapped a few pictures of the straps I use when putting meat in the load sling. The straps have the tri glide end and I feed them through the cutout in the frame in the same locations as the side straps used to attach to the pack bag. I tie the loose ends up when not in use.

Hey, thanks for this. I just did the same to my Kuiu frame this morning and it looks like it will work perfect.
