Kuiu or FL pants most similar to Sitka Mountain pants?

Been wearing Sitka mountain pants for a long time and love them (I liked the old version better), but the front pockets drive me nuts, so I'm curious what pants are the most similar in weight/durability?

What are FL's new 308 pants like? They look nice, but I can't tell how heavy they are. I noticed the fleece-lined version actually weighs less than the standard version. How do they compare to their Corrugate Foundry pant?

Kuiu - Attack? Guide (Pro)?

I have tried on the SG DH pants and didnt like the way they fit, so those are out. Maybe SG’s new Praxis pant?

Or are the mountain pants better than all of these and I should just suck it up and deal with the pockets?

I have sitka timberlines which i think are mountain pants but with waterproof butt/knee

The attack are close it layering weight(not actual when u pick up my timberlines they feel heavy). The attacks dont seem to have as stretchy material

I dont have any first lite so cant help you there

I would guess the pro pant would be its equivalent with knee pads. I am not a kuiu/sika expert however I use the attack pant and it is well suited to mountain hunting. Good stretch, decent pockets, fair abrasion resistance, air dumps, athletic fit, etc. The katana is a more durable fabric with a bit less stretch and a little tighter fit imo. Hope this helps you!

Stone Glacier De Havillands are legit and I like them better for most scenarios over my sitka timberlines, did you try a different size in the DH?

Yep, I wear the timberlines as well, but if I don't have to worry about wet/snow, I prefer the mountain pants over them because they are lighter and a little more comfortable without the waterproof knees.

They didn't seem to fit me as well as I hoped. If I remember correctly, they were kinda baggy on me. I might have to try them on again.

I have the FL 308 pants, non lined. I am a little disappointed in them. I ordered my normal pant size 32x32 and they were on the baggier and long side but no biggie with layering. At first they were comfy and quiet which I liked but after half a season they have more holes and wear than I would like. Mesh in the hip zips ripped, tip of an antler pincered right through near my calf way easier than it would have, it was rounded off. I wanted to like them, but I am looking for a replacement, mid weight pant.
