Have you guys checked out the new base layer stuff in Peloton? Looks pretty good, like the look of the boxers, let ya know how they fit shortly.

Just ordered the Kenai i am hoping it will cover a lot of temperature ranges and that it will be durable with the pack straps rubbing on it..

I'm interested in the boxers and Kenai pants. Not sure the base layers will serve a purpose my 145 bottoms already handle

I just got the Teton insulated jacket., which seems pretty durable other than taking punctures. Kuiu told me its the same face fabric minus the dwr. Temp range is great. Very warm under the guide jacket. With out a shell on top of a light shirt I am comfortable down to mid 30's without wind.

I took the Teton insulation jacket out a few times in Idaho last year. It is medium warm and held up going through sage but I have quite a bit of piling where the Exo rubbed on the shoulders and back. Not the best for wearing a pack directly on it.

This is something I actually have thought would be useful now and then. Not sure if I'd actually pack them on a backpack trip, but I do think they could come in handy sometimes.

Looks like the Kenai pants have short inseams like the base layer zip-off bottoms. I really don't see the point in that. It's not like you'd tuck them into your boots anyway. And if you are worried about the cuffs getting wet, wear gaiters.

Disappointed with the short inseam as well. Was hoping for more of a pant/mid-layer not just a strict mid-layer. Only piece I see possibly buying is the 240 beanie everything else not needed.

The more I think about it I can see some use. Maybe make the sleeves on the guide jacket zip off to become a vest. What a combination of versatility all those together would be, I'd buy it.

I'm a little disappointed in the price of the zip-offs, until I hear some feedback on how long and how well the toray odor control works I'll stick with wool.

these are not made to tuck in they are made to zip on over your other pants the way I take it. I ordered a pair for sitting on stand in Kansas will see how they do and I also got them larger so I can put over my other pants, they would probably make some good snowboard or ski pants

...except the inseam is only 24.4 inches. Sitting down the cuffs will be at your kneecap.
