Kuiu NEW CAMO PATTERN 2020

I just received an email teasing about something coming May 19, 2020. Anyone have the scoop what it is?

I Searched that last landscape they showed but could not find anyone. Either the camo is magical or that was just a teaser of what terrain it is designed to work in...

I assume it will be camo for waterfowl hunting like a grassy style.

I think it is a more barren version of Verde or a more green version of vias. Like a Vias Verde mixture. Either way I don't think it can be better than the current camos. They want some more money.

Yep.. It's like any "next generation" camo.. Sell more gear to those looking for an "edge"...

Definitely appears to a grassy-style, I remember watching Jason's videos back in the day and he said they would never get out of just making ultralight backpack/mountain hunting apparel - this is why they never made waterfowl apparel or anything else. I am a Kuiu fan, but prices have increased, and continue to, and now this? We will wait and see I guess. I enjoyed Kuiu when it was a niche product for a niche market.

I agree with a new pattern. Zoom in on the subdued image in the background and you can kind of make it out. Looks like the mix of the 2 current patterns. Curious to see final rendition. I quit using camo but pretty much only use their clothing. I liked the very first version of Vias that was made in CA. tans, light grey with minimal dark areas. Wish they went back to that color scheme. Not a huge fan of the current version, too dark for my liking. Awesome performing clothes though!

If you look at the email and in the dark background its a shadow image of a jacket with the camo. It looks like a Vias color scheme with the Verde 2.0 pattern with some of the fish scale looking lines in it. I wont be a buyer. Maybe when I need some new pieces I would consider it. Doesn't do anything for me at the moment.

I like how they always have a sale right before they announce/release something. Its like hey lighten our inventory and make way for the thing you are going to wish you bought on and prepare to open your wallet again. I get it, its business, but its kind of comical how close on the timeline they do these. Sitka/first lite seem to space it out a little more or extend sales for longer periods of time.

And for clarification I do love KUIU's products. But I also wear first lite and sitka and mix my patterns/solids. Good piece of gear is just good

i'm sure they will be releasing a new Ultra- pack line as well in the coming months. I am a huge supporter of kuiu, and have a lot of clothing/gear from them; but like you said Josh.. Kuiu's marketing strategies are not appealing or "customer friendly". However, it is what it is.

I prefer the Garage Sale V3.0 camo. I thrive on not having my camo tops match my bottoms. There should be some good deals coming up on old Kuiu here soon, watch the classifieds.

That's the best way to break up the human body outline! I think if I was an ungulate, I would be much less threatened with only a torso or some legs coming at me
