Kuiu loden question

Just got some loden Tiburon pants and I'm really surprised how dark they are. They almost looked black in the package. I have a pelton 240 in loden I don't remember being that dark. Has anybody noticed loden items being significantly darker lately? Or noticed a decent fade after a wash? I love my pelton color and other things I've seen in loden but I'm really not digging these so far . I'm attaching a picture of them on top of my pelton

I bought and returned Loden Tibs when they first came out for the very reason you stated, they looked almost black to me, that was a few years ago.

The Peloton is actually olive, they consider it a different shade

I don't know why I thought the pelton was loden too! That explains why there's such a color difference for sure. I agree though, loden seems very dark. Their website pictures make it look much lighter, if it were that color id be more okay with it.

I've noticed that they use really light exposures for the pics on their website. Ordered gunmetal Kutanas and Peloton and they were almost black. Loden pants were also much darker than pictured.

Yes, I agree completely! The worst part is that I got them on a great sale, but with kuius policy, I can't exchange them, only return and repurchase. I don't think I dislike it enough to eat $16 in shipping

Same ^ - my Axis in Ash are much darker than I expected. Like them though

How would you describe the Ash? Anything you can compare it against? On the website, it looks like it's possibly a color pulled from the new Valo pattern.

Wow. That is far different than I expected. I like it, but I expected something more brown. Thanks for sharing the pic.

Is that solid color the Ash color? It does look very gray by comparison.
