High-performance hunting gear and apparel brand KUIU Ultralight Hunting announces it has been acquired by an investor group comprising conservation-driven families and businesses, including Cox Enterprises.

Cox owns the Atlanta Journal newspaper. A liberal rag that mostly reprints articles from The NY Times and Washington Post. Guess they now want hunters money. Don’t believe the garbage they are posting about conservative wildlife. Most likely will stop my purchases from Kuiu.

Think this requires pass word? Sorry I did not know this was on another thread andI posted there just now.
I read the article years ago, really shed sheep hunting in a positive light. Brendan Burns was even interviewed. Suprised they had that take.

So sad. Great gear when Jayson was alive. Now its about money

Yea. New development... Businesses about money. Weird.

As it turns out, Kuiu immediately deviated from Jason's singular vision. He said they would never make whitetail gear, women's clothing, etcetera. Maybe you missed it, but they have been making that stuff for years now.

Maybe @BCDJR should have bought them himself.

I like the story about when he threatened the funding to The University of Montana if they didn’t publicly support his fight against public access & make locals be nicer to out of state land owners.

The letter reads like a 2AM drunk text…
