I owned an Icon 6000 KUIU pack for a week before returning it and ordering a Kifaru KU 5200. I had never tried either brand at the time. I loaded down the KUIU pack with around 70 pounds and started off for a walk. I made it roughly 200 yids before my legs went almost numb from lack of blood flow, it honestly scared me! I had two problems with the pack. 1. I have a very short torso and log legs, so I could not adjust the torso length short enough for me and that caused the pack to slide down around my ass. The second problem Which I didn't know at the time was the size of the lumbar pad compared to the Kifaru. After I got my KU 5200 I was very happy with how it carried a load compared to the KUIU. The KUIU is a cool pack and organized very well but it did not fit me well. I now have a Timberline and i'm ready to start trying it out and I own almost all the KUIU clothing so I love both company's very much.
