Well I am definitely not a Kuiu hater, probably more of a fan boy. I've been exceptionally happy with their pants, think the wool is great. Generally I feel like they are producing good products at a great value. I've been on the fence about getting a high end sleeping bag and was considering the Montbell Hugger. I figured with the sale I should give the Kuiu bag a shot. When it showed up I was generally underwhelmed. It is a good bag, but nothing jumps out as me as great. I went down to Montbell today and checked out the equivalent hugger. I thought the loft, material, and fit were all superior with the Montbell bag. My main interest was in the stretch, and the Kuiu does not provide near the clearance of the Hugger. I will be sending the Kuiu back and keeping an eye out for a deal on a Montbell bag. I still love Kuiu, but this is my honest review on this particular product.
