Kuiu discontinuing Peloton 97 Line?

Looks like the only Peloton 97s they have are in the outlet, in limited sizes and colors. Bummer, as they were perfect for the mornings in the summer over a light t shirt.

Anyone know if they’re planning a new, similar line? If not, what are some similar tops from another brand? My typical summer pack list is a Merino 120 t shirt, the peloton 97, and lighter down jacket that Kuiu makes.

Well, you made me go grab a couple from the outlet quick.......

They also make an excellent cold weather baselayer. The rule seems to be at times that if it's any good, it will be discontinued. Maybe something better is coming.

The purge has been going on for awhile now. The bottoms have been long gone and not available for quite some time. They've been purging the tops for months. It is (or was) their best product IMO and seems dumb to discontinue it with no replacement in sight. I don't know an equal from another vendor that has the warmth to weight the 97 has. I normally don't like the feel of synthetics agains my skin but the soft interior of the 97 is a big attribute for me too. Outdoor Vitals has their new thing but it's way more expensive.

IDK about the peloton 97, but I went over there to look and it looks like KUIU just started another sale. I grabbed a Super Down LT for my Wife and myself.

I like every piece of Kuiu hunting apparel I own, but it really bugs me seeing them introduce more and more “lifestyle” items. I don’t need a messenger bag, a dress shirt, etc. I want lightweight hunting layers that are functional within a system, and I know I’m not the only one that feels that way. Guess there’s just a huge market for people that want to let everybody in the room know they’re a hunter before a word is ever said!

Really keeping my fingers crossed they come out with a new version of the 97. They certainly know how to make quality product still. Wore the heck out of my new Tiburon Hybrid Hoodie this past summer and love it!
