I have the original Kuiu Chugach and had the Sitka Cloudburst that I would rotate between the 2 while guiding particularly wet hunts - typically archery elk. These hunts are horse back with wall tents and wood stoves to dry out at night. Both kept me as dry as I could hope and held up well. The Cloudburst seemed to have more features but none that really stood out as must haves but it also seemed to take longer to dry.
Because the jackets were so similar I decided to keep the Chugach since its a bit lighter and more packable and sold the Cloudburst so I could pick up a heavier duty rain jacket. Now to decide between the Sitka Stormfront, Coldfront or Kuiu Yukon.....
